Emphasizing Direct Benefits to Citizens

Gupta stressed the importance of governance reforms, particularly in ensuring direct benefits for the populace. She remarked, “Previously, politicians claimed that if we sent one rupee, only ten paise reached the people’s welfare. However, under Narendra Modi’s administration, it has become possible for the entire rupee to reach the common people, and you all have played a significant role in this.”

Referring to the government’s flagship initiative ‘My Capital, My Right,’ the Chief Minister described it as a crucial step towards accountability and transparency in the financial system. This program focuses on returning unclaimed funds, deposits, and mutual funds to their rightful owners through streamlined processes and awareness campaigns.
