Accident in Janmashtami procession: chariot collided with electric wires, 5 killed, union minister’s gunman injured

A big accident took place on Friday during the Sri Krishna Janmashtami festival in Hyderabad. Lord Krishna’s procession was being taken out in Ramantpur area. During this time, the chariot of the journey suddenly came in contact with the high -tension wires passing above. Due to the current spreading, there was chaos on the spot and five devotees died. Many people have also been injured in the accident, including Union Minister Kishan Reddy’s gunman.

Five devotees killed, four injured

Five devotees died in the accident and four people were severely scorched. The injured have been admitted to the nearest hospitals, where their condition is said to be critical. The incident took place in Gopalnagar area of Ramantpur at around 12 pm on Sunday night.

Kishan Reddy’s gunman also injured

The deceased have been identified as 21 -year -old Sri Krishna, 35 -year -old Srikanth Reddy, 34 -year -old Suresh, 39 -year -old Rudra Vikas and 45 -year -old Rajendra Reddy. After the incident, there was chaos in his family members. The police have taken all the bodies in possession and sent it for postmortem.

According to reports, the security guard of Union Minister Kishan Reddy has also suffered serious injuries in this accident. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Due to this negligence, the atmosphere of a holy festival like Janmashtami became inconsolable.
