Amarnath Yatra postponed on both routes from Sunday due to maintenance work

After the recent heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir, the yatra has been postponed on both routes since Sunday due to maintenance work on the Amarnath Yatra route. Kashmir Divisional Commissioner Vijay Kumar Bidhuri said that due to heavy rains, repair and maintenance work on both Baltal and Pahalgam routes is necessary. He said, “We will not be able to resume the journey due to the continuous deployment of personnel and machines on the tracks from tomorrow. So the journey on both routes will be postponed.” The official spokesperson’s Matabik visited more than 4.10 lakh passengers this year in the holy cave of Shri Amarnathji.
