He noted that Assam has witnessed jihadist activities over the last ten years, and security remains a significant concern. Sarma expressed confidence that some sleeper cells are still operational in Assam, warning that the state's security will continue to be a matter of concern until there is a substantial improvement in the geopolitical situation.
