Among those reporting problems, 63% noted that the website was unresponsive, while 35% experienced server-related difficulties.

Several individuals tagged @GoogleIndia for updates, while accounts like @metawire urged a swift resolution, as many were unable to join calls.
One user lamented, ‘I finally got an interview, and now Google Meet is down.’
Interestingly, some users claimed that Google Meet was functioning for them while others in their organization faced issues, adding to the confusion.
Others reported being able to join meetings, but their colleagues could not.
The outage also sparked a flurry of jokes and concerns, with users questioning why multiple major platforms have been experiencing failures this month.
One user quipped, ‘First Cloudflare, then AWS… now GCP wants a turn too,’ while another remarked they were still ‘waiting for a GCP outage’ given the recent trends.
As of now, Google has not provided an official explanation for the disruption.
This incident follows closely on the heels of a significant outage affecting various parts of the internet, attributed to Cloudflare.
