Official Visit to the National Capital
NEW DELHI: Kuldeep Singh Pathania, the Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, is currently on a two-day visit to Delhi. On Tuesday, he paid a visit to Sonia Gandhi, a senior leader of the Congress party and a member of the Rajya Sabha, at the Parliament House.
During their meeting, Pathania addressed the operations of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly and discussed various social and administrative challenges facing the state. The conversation was noted for its friendly atmosphere, emphasizing parliamentary procedures and governance issues.
Following his meeting with Gandhi, Pathania also had a discussion with Digvijaya Singh, a former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and Rajya Sabha MP. The two leaders shared insights on several significant topics during their conversation. Pathania’s visit to Delhi is part of his official schedule, which includes interactions with prominent political figures.
