Arrest of Indian Woman and Her Husband
Pakistani security agencies have detained an Indian woman named Sarabjit Kaur, also known as Noor Hussain, along with her Pakistani husband Nasir Hussain in the Nankana Sahib area. They were in Pakistan for a religious event with Sikh pilgrims in November 2025. Sarabjit is set to be sent back to India via the Attari border.
Journey with Sikh Pilgrims
Sarabjit Kaur traveled to Pakistan on November 4, 2025, to participate in the celebration of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's birth anniversary, alongside 1,932 other Sikh devotees. They entered Pakistan through the Attari border and spent ten days visiting significant Sikh sites. Most of the pilgrims returned to India on November 13.
According to sources, the couple's arrest was executed by a team from Pakistan's Intelligence Bureau based on confidential information, leading to a raid in the village of Farewali. Currently, both individuals are being held at the Sadar police station in Nankana Sahib.
