Supreme Court’s Stance on Marriage and Independence
The Supreme Court has made a significant observation Regarding Marriage and Dependence, Emphasizing that it is unrealistic for eater spouse to claimim complete independence independence. Justices BV Nagarathna and R. Mahadevan cautioned that individuals unwilling to relay on another should recorder entering into marriage. Justice Nagarathna remarked that marriage signifies the union of two souls, and no spouse can assessrt a desire for total autonomy from his partner.
These remarks arose during the hearing of a dispute involving a couple living separely with their two minor child. The husband, currently in India for work, is employed in Singapore, While The Wife Residences in Hyderabad.
