Strengthening Law and Order in Uttar Pradesh

Gorakhpur: On Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh emphasized that the state’s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards crime is not merely a slogan but a principle actively enforced.

While addressing the 36th Foundation Day of the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA), he stated that a secure environment has been established, free from hooliganism, extortion, and mafia influence.

Adityanath reiterated that strict measures are in place against crime and corruption, asserting that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a model for law and order in India.

He noted the absence of mafia activities, the end of curfews, and the cessation of riots, highlighting a significant improvement in public safety.
